I saw Dawn Landes a couple months ago as an opener for another band. I thought they were really great so I picked up their album. On my way out the door for today I grabbed their album, It had been awhile since I listened to it. Anyways, I had a really shitty night waitressing. Not something so out of the ordinary.... people just being people. Which unfortunately means it was another night of me questioning the human race. Forcing me to be harder and less naive as a person. When I just wish I could be me, happy and trusting of other people. Anyways long story short I was driving home, still shaking from my confrontation, and this song came on. It was a pretty monumental moment for me so I felt the need to share. Enjoy. It's a sweet song, and aided me to realize.... well I can still be me.

When I was living in Rome, I got close to this girl names Jillian. Every Sunday we would go to this flea market and buy a flower and name it. I have a similar photo to this one that she took. Jillian is coming home from her travels in Asia this summer, tonight. I have been thinking about her a lot. This group, this picture. I can't wait to see her.
This is us. Jill and I. In Rome. We were so happy that day. Are smiles are real. Not ones you fake for a camera.

My family is vacationing in the outer banks North Carolina. Yesterday I was sitting on the beach looking at all the seashells. Did you ever really look at seashells? Each one is unique and different. Beautiful in it's own way. I found myself comparing seashells to different people I know.
The strange red one was me
The purple was Sam
The classy all white one was Jill
I could go on for days naming all my friends and family what shell they represent.
Another thing I love about the beach is buying the bottle of sunscreen with the coppertone girl on it.
Drippy Sand Castles.
Reading while listening to the sound of the waves.
Anyways this is random but I collected a lot of sea shells so hopefully when I get home I figure out something to do with them. I will post a picture on my blog! I was thinking some sort of headband, or cute flip flops.

For as long as I can remember. I have tried to mimic the outfits of the Olsens. Recently graduating with a degree and fashion there is no celebrity's style I like better then Mary-Kate Olsen. Olsens Anonymous is my favorite blog. I look at it once a week at least for style inspiration. Here are some photo's I liked recently.
